Violinist Eugene Kaler was born in Moscow, Russia, into a family of musicians. He started to study violin at the age of 7 first at the Peabody Conservatory of Music, then Levin School of Music in Washington. Very soon he began to perform at the Recital Halls in Baltimore-Washington area with great success.Pianist Li-Tan Hsu graduated in May 2007 from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Music degree in Ensemble Arts. She began her piano studies at the age of four in her native Taipei, Taiwan. Ms. Hsu has collaborated with other distinguished artists including Peabody's own cellist Michael Kannen, double bassists Robert Kesselman and John Hood of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Mark Huang from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. She is a recipient of the 2005 and 2003 Clara Arschfeld Award for Outstanding Accompanist.
