A Resolution Regarding Student Services

S.R-8

WHEREAS  the Student Government Association bears the mandate of serving its constituents.

WHEREAS the Campus Affairs Committee conducted an online survey of off-campus properties during the prior academic term.

WHEREAS students often have trouble finding a sub-letter when they go abroad.

WHEREAS there is a need for a database of past course syllabi.

THEREFORE the Student Government Association will pursue the creation of a services page on its website.

THEREFORE said page will include an off-campus housing database hosted on the SGA website.

THEREFORE accompanying it will also be a subletting board, where students can post offers and find people to fill their rooms.

THEREFORE the Student Government Association will undertake a project to collect and catalog the syllabi of past courses, with the goal of also cataloging them in an online database.

THEREFORE points 6 and 7 will be undertaken by the Campus Affairs Committee, and point 8 by the Academic Affairs committee.

THEREFORE further projects may be added in the future.

It is so ordered.
