Dear Students,

The SGA is still working hard for you! There are many events coming up around campus from Mattin Markets to the legendary Spring Fair. We are in the final stretch of school, but its never too late to get involved and support your community and friends! Below are some SGA sponsored events and activities that are a great way to support your school:

 

Mattin Markets

When: EVERY Thursday from 10am-1pm

Where: Mattin Center Courtyard

The SGA in collaboration with the Student Activities office wants to meet you! We want to hear what you have to say about our campus: comments, concerns, requests? Come meet SGA representatives every Thursday in the Mattin Courtyard. Student Group vendors as well as local vendors will also be at the event.

IMPORTANT: If you or your student group wants to be a vendor at the new Mattin Markets email: secretary@jhusga.com

 

Spring Fair 2010 Concert

When: April 24th

Who: State Radio featuring Forever the Sickest Kids and Time Columns ( Battle of the Bands 2010 Champions).

Time: Doors open at 6. Time Columns start at 6:30.

Student/Faculty tickets are $15 and public tickets are $25. Come enjoy the signature Spring Fair event. Buy your tickets online at http://jhutickets.com



Hopkins Flea Market

When: May 1st and 2nd

Who: the JHU Haiti Aid Coalition and JHU Costa Rica are holding a Hopkins Flea Market

Where: The Upper Quad.

With evolving technologies and a push towards sustainability, we want to make sure we are reaching out to students in the best ways possible.  We appreciate your time in helping us develop advertising and promotion strategies going forward.

 

Interested in helping lead the Sustainable Hopkins Infrastructure Program?


Positions are available for the 2010-11 school year:

Project Manager: Identifies potential projects, assesses their feasibility, and presents final proposals to evaluations committee.
Public Relations: Set up events such as the annual Green Idea Generator, advertise our efforts to student body, and attract new applicants.
Website Designer: Design website that would link to the JHU Student Government Association website, describe projects, and display daily updated savings from projects

Hopkins Hosting Society Info Session

When: Monday, March 29th at 6:00 pm

Where: Mason Hall

They will be FREE PIZZA
