Some Important Academic Alerts from the SGA

[DATE]

Dear Students,

The Academic Affairs committee of the Student Government Association has been hard at work this year trying to improve the academic environment at Hopkins. Please review the important information below, as it is pertinent in helping us create a better learning experience for all undergraduates.

1. While deciding on classes to take for next term, remember to utilize the course evaluation website (or ACE guide): http://www.jhu.edu/merlin/.  It provides reviews of the quality of each course offered over the past 10+ years at JHU.

2. If you have an assignment due during reading period, whether is be an exam, quiz, paper, presentation, homework, extra class, etc., please email the course name, number and due date of the assignment to academicaffairs@jhusga.com.  Reading period this year is from December 4th to December 7th.  The academic affairs committee will be working closely with the administration to put a stop to the reading period infractions BEFORE they take place.  All information will be kept strictly confidential and anonymous.

3.  The academic affairs committee is currently working with the administration to offer new classes that are highly sought after by students.  If you have a suggestion for a new class, please fill out the class suggestion form by CLICKING HERE.

If you ever have any academic issues or concerns that you would like us to help with, please do not hesitate to email us at academicaffairs@jhusga.com.

Sincerely,

The SGA Academic Affairs Committee
